About Stacy L. Killinger, PhD

I am a licensed psychologist in Wisconsin and California with a PhD in counseling psychology from UW Madison. I have been working in the counseling field in various roles for 25 years helping people gain self-awareness, feel better and lead more fulfilling lives. I strive to create a warm, safe, nurturing space for self-exploration, healing and growth.

Most of us tend to spend a lot of time in our heads trying to find solutions to our problems and tend to ignore the wisdom of our hearts. My intention is to help clients to use all of the sources of  knowledge that are available to them to tap into their inner wisdom and inner sense of knowing. In addition, I also believe in giving clients practical tools to use immediately to start feeling better as we work together to make lasting changes.  Many people come to my office feeling like they are barely surviving and life isn't very enjoyable. I work together with my clients to unearth unhelpful patterns and remove roadblocks that prevent them from thriving.

Our thoughts, early relationships with our families, and ways we relate to ourselves and others, can all be sources of distress. I strive to help clients uncover the barriers that keep them stuck and prevent them from finding their unique path to healing and wellness.

It would be an honor to accompany you on your journey to living a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
